Newsletter Week 25 14th-18th March 2016

Posted: Fri 18th Mar 2016

Science week has been a great success—the children have had a great time and are looking forward to sharing their learning with you this afternoon and of course to the grand opening of the Bio Dome!

As the term draws to a close, it is unfortunately time to say good bye to some members of staff. Miss Ryle will start her maternity leave and a letter will follow to Year 5 families about her replacement—we thank her for all her hard work and wish her all the best with her new baby! Also Mrs Cawkwell is moving on to pastures new—we wish her all the very best with her new job and thank her for her work with us, her replacement Kate Maloney is looking forward to joining the team after Easter. We  will also be welcoming Jane Walker to the team, Jane will be teaching Y1 Blyton class. Finally we wanted to let you know that Mrs Freeman is expecting a baby, the baby is not due until September and so she is not going anywhere for a while—but we wanted to keep you informed!

Well done to Offiah and Rowling classes who have the highest attendance this week with 96.8% and also to Offiah Class who are this week’s Tidy Tigers!

Have a great weekend .

James Ellis
