Y3 Gregory Cool Class

This year in Literacy we will be reading high-quality texts including The First Drawing, Leon and the Place Between, The Tin Forest and Flotsam.  We will learn to make predictions based on what we have read and, in our writing, we will join our letters correctly, begin to use inverted commas for speech and include more detail. 

In Maths we will develop our understanding of place value, and begin to use formal methods of calculation; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will memorise facts for our 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x and 10x tables, practising regularly in class and at home.
