Y2 Crayon Class
In Literacy we will be reading books such as: Lights on Cotton Rock, Tadole's Promise, Wolves and Bear and the Piano. Using these texts we will be developing our writing skills by writing diary entries, character descriptions, letters and narratives.
In Maths we will build upon addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will strengthen number bonds and use these to make links with larger numbers. We will practise counting in 2s 5s and 10s.

- What does a plant need in order to grow?
- How have Neil Armstrong and Christopher Columbus impacted our lives today?
- Why was Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation a significant event?
- How did the Great Fire of London start and how did it spread?
- Where would you rather live: England or Kenya?
- Why do we like to be beside the seaside?
