This week year 5 celebrated Thanksgiving day.
They learnt all about what happened when the pilgrims first arrived in America and all about their first Thanksgiving feast. Throughout the day they took part in a variety of activities which included making Andy Warhol style art, making friendship bracelets and line dancing.
In order to celebrate in true American style, they also baked a feast of pumpkin pie, brownies and apple tarts which they enjoyed eating along with turkey and cranberry sauce and pancakes and maple syrup. Yum!
