Year 1 children had their science buzz day and went to forest school to build shelters from different materials.
Year 3 have been trying to answer the question 'What happens to the water that we put in the soil to help plants grow?' We used blue dye to colour the water which we put white flowers into. We discovered that after a few hours the flowers turned blue! The water is sucked up the stem and into the flower. We can name parts of the plant, their functions and also draw the life cycle of a flowering plant. We have been busy bees!
