Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the academic year 2024 - 2025! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful summer break with your children. I have heard many of the children talking about their summer adventures and it sounds like they have made some great memories.
It was a pleasure to welcome you back on Tuesday morning. The children were excited and happy to be coming into school and I am pleased to say that this has continued throughout the week (apart from the dreaded rain!). Walking into each classroom has been a joy and I am super proud of how well the children have settled into their new classes.
This is equally true for our new members of staff. I wish to extend a warm welcome to Ms Sharrock (AHT & Y6), Mrs Fearon (SENCo), Mrs Kovacs-Pereiria (Y6), Miss Penver (Y5), Mrs Turpie (Y2), Mr Cosgrave (YR) and Mrs Cook (Preschool) to our BHPS team. They have recevied the seal of approval from the children who have said they can stay - phew!
Mrs Snelling has been busy speaking to the children about School Council and Eco Council. Next week we will be able to share with you representatives from each class and their plan for the year.
