We are very excited as the BioDome was started and completed this week! We are really looking forward to using it to enhance the teaching of science and other subjects.
The choir have been working hard and Y5 and Y6 members will be off to the O2 next Friday to perform at the Young Voices Concert—they can’t wait! Y4 Rowling class assembly took place on Thursday morning—Mrs Freeman informs me that it was really great - especially the Digestion Dance!!!
Several members of staff have nearly been run over by reception children racing along their new road! The children have been having a whale of a time and as I said to the staff—they should be using the Zebra crossing!!!
Don’t forget to bring in any awards, medals or certificates that children have earned for activities and achievements outside of school—we love to hear about these in celebration assembly. Just a quick reminder that any child with shoulder length hair or longer should have it tied back—this is in the interest of preventing head lice and also to avoid accidents.
Congratulations to Bear Grylls Class who won the attendance award this week with 98.1%.
Have a great weekend! James Ellis
