Dear Parents and Carers,
We have just finished KS2 Sports Day and it was wonderful! The children tried so hard and as well as showcasing some serious sporting talent, they also showed some fabulous sportsmanship. David Attenborough house emerged victorious and we will announce the overall sports day winner once we know the results from the EYFS and KS1 Sports day this afternoon.
We are very much looking forward to Sports Day this afternoon and thank all parents and carers for their support. Thank you also to the staff - especially to Mrs Sanford for coordinating both sports days so brilliantly.
Y6 are off to the Isle of Wight next week and I will be going with them this year. Mrs Lawrence will lead the school whilst I am away - I will be contactable via email but my access to emails will be limited. We have some lovely things planned for the Y6 children who have chosen not to attend and so it looks like it will be a fun week for the whole of Y6.
This afternoon we are also fortunate enough to have two fantastic events organised by the Friends - thank you so much for arranging the amazing Colour Run and Summer Fair - I am sure that everyone will have a wonderful time.
