After a very delayed start, half of Year 6 managed to enjoy a successful week in Normandy with PGL! The children experienced many new things including wall climbing, canoeing and even made croissants! We took a trip to the local food market where the children were able to test out their knowledge of the French language by ordering their own ingredients to make lunch, visit a bakery to make croissants and order an ice cream in the nearest village. As well as trips into the village the children were able to try eating snails - the overall opinion was that they tasted like chicken! The children behaved impeccably and were a true credit to the school.
