Year 6 had a fantastic time on their trip to the Natural History Museum yesterday. The children really enjoyed looking at the amazing array of animal life that has lived on planet earth over millions of years. They could not believe how huge some of the dinosaurs were—or for that matter, the blue whale!
The children took part in a fascinating evolution workshop as part of their new science topic. They were really interested to learn about how animals and humans have evolved in order to survive. The children were a credit to the school—so polite, well behaved and engaged in their learning. I think Luke Stephen could get a job on their education staff team!
Thank you to the teachers for organising the trip and also to the staff and parents who came along and helped on the day—without this support the trip would not have been able to go ahead.
