Year 3 trip to St Mark’s Church

Year 3 went on a  visit to St Mark's Church yesterday to learn about features of churches.

The children listened very carefully to the vicar who told them all about how Christians prepare for Christmas and showed the children the advent wreath. The children had an opportunity to explore the altar, pulpit, font, organ and to look at the special windows.
