It has truly been a fantastic year!
You will have seen in the press that there has been a significant decline in the national average in the end of KS2 SATs results. We are delighted to inform you that unlike many schools in the borough and nationally, we have significantly exceeded the national average across the board at the end of KS2. There is expected to be a similar decline nationally in KS1 results, but again we are confident that we will have exceeded national expectations.
It has been an incredibly difficult year for both children and staff as the goals posts have been moved and standards have been raised—there have been times when it has been difficult to keep up, but everyone has kept going and the results speak for themselves. We are incredibly proud of all of the children and congratulate them on their success.
Thank you to all of the staff who have worked tirelessly to secure these results. Other than that, there are just too many other things that have added colour and fun to this academic year...thank you for your support with each and every trip, special event and meeting we really appreciate your positivity and encouragement as we move forward on out journey to becoming an outstanding school.
We hope you all have a peaceful yet fun filled summer holidays. Take good care of yourselves and we look forward to seeing you in September!
