Dear parents and carers,
It has been a very exciting week this week—it started with our new reception classes staying for full days and managing brilliantly and ended with us taking part in a live broadcast on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show!
Next week is set to be just as exciting, as MP Joe Johnson will be opening our brand new Reception “Outside Learning Area .”
Children have been very hard at work this week; work has started on new class texts and new and engaging topics have begun. On our learning walks this week, the leadership team have noted a real buzz of excitement and hard work around the school!
Mrs Freeman would like to say a special well done to all of the children who have attended arithmetic booster at 8am this week—she has been really impressed with your enthusiasm and dedication to your learning—oh and she says, “don’t forget to learn your tables this weekend!”
We hope that you enjoy looking at our new website and that you find it useful, we welcome your feedback about this. We also hope that you found the “Meet the Teacher” afternoon informative last week—our aim is to provide parents with as much useful information as possible.
Well done to Y5 Raleigh class who had the best attendance this week—98.2%.
James Ellis
