I’d like to welcome all families and staff back to school and hope you all had a lovely break. The children have had a lovely first week and all seem very settled and happy.
Firstly, thank you very much for all your messages of appreciation at the end of last term. On behalf of our school, it gave me great pride to be able to hand these out in secret envelopes to my staff during our end of term staff meeting. Honestly, these were received with such gratitude and joy; they really do make a difference - thank you.
Next week, we look forward to World Book Week. Mr Devlin, Literacy Coordinator, has informed me that the children are going to have an amazing week exploring many different genres and literacy activities. Just to give you some advance notice, World Book Day is on Thursday 5th March.
Have a lovely weekend,
James Ellis
