Dear Parents and Carers,
Firstly thank you to everyone who attended the Halloween Disco last Friday - a great time was had by all - especially by Miss O’Mahony and Mr Devlin ;) Thank you to The Friends for organising such a great event for the children.
This week we have been focussing on remembrance. We had a special assembly led by Miss Elliott on Monday and Year 6 have been selling poppies and other remembrance items. Thank you for all of your donations. Myself and the Year 6 prefects will be representing the school at the remembrance memorial service on Sunday. If you would like to attend - please do. The march will take place at 10.30am from St Mark’s Church and the service will commence at the war memorial at 10.50am.
Please check your inbox for the Christmas Arrangements letter which was sent earlier today. We have tried to get dates and times of Christmas performances out to you a bit earlier this year in the hope that it will help people to balance shows and other commitments - we know what a busy time of year it can be! Letters about costumes and tickets will follow from class teachers - please contact your child’s class teacher in the first instance if you have any questions about this.
Have a great weekend!
Mrs Freeman
