Dear Parents and Carers,

What an absolutely wonderful last week it has been! There have been so many special events and it has been such a pleasure to be part of these.

We have had our usual silly nonsense staff farewell assemblies - Mr Devlin (who used to be a chef) decorated a cake … blindfolded! Mrs Buchanan wowed us with her amazing maths. Mrs Windover did the Chocolate Tasting Challenge, Miss Wigfield sang us some Queen and Miss O’Mahony treated us all to some Irish dancing! All of the above was very funny and the children loved saying goodbye in such a fun way! I would like to thank these amazing staff for their incredible service to the school.

I would also like to thank them for my leaving poem, card and gifts - it was a very emotional farewell!

The Year 6 show was an absolute triumph - there wasn’t a dry eye in the house and we are so proud of the Year 6 children and staff team for pulling off such a great show. Year 6 will be graduating this afternoon - this is always an emotional and very special event! Thank you to the parents and carers who have done such an amazing job at organising and helping with all of the special events.

The pre school graduation was another highlight of my week. The preschool team did an absolutely incredible job at organising this event for the children - it was so fabulous! Our lovely pre schoolers are excited about their next big step and we look forward to welcoming them to BHPS in September!

I have been changing my earrings on a half hourly basis as I was given a box of earrings by Leibovitz Class.  Each child bought me a new pair - I have 32 to get through by the end of the day!

On that note we would like to thank you all for your incredible generosity and kindness - the gifts and cards that we have received have blown us all away. Thank you for acknowledging our work in such a generous manner - we are so grateful!

I hope that you all have wonderful summer holidays - I will miss

you all.

Best Wishes,

Mrs Freeman
