Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a busy week as we make preparations for the end of the school year. I hope that you all received my email sent earlier today about the option of a later start on Monday due to the football - please note that this is entirely optional.
Last week Year 6 had a blast! Whether they stayed at school or went to the Isle of Wight - they all had a great time! Please see some photos of the Isle of Wight trip below. I was lucky enough to accompany the children this year and had a great time - they were so well behaved and the staff team were also amazing. Thanks to everyone - I felt so proud to be the headteacher of BHPS!
Year 6 also had a fabulous time on Wednesday at their Leaver’s Day! This was organised by the Parental Leavers Committee and it was brilliant! Poor Miss Farrell ended up in the paddling pool! It is the Y6 Prom this evening; the children are so excited and the parents and carers who have organised this have worked tirelessly to make sure that it is a night to remember - have fun everyone!
There is a lot going on next week from staff leaving assemblies, Year 6 graduation, All Change Day and more! We hope that your child really enjoys the last week of term!
Is it coming home???? Come on England!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs Freeman
Headteacher and Safeguarding Lead
