Dear Parents and Carers,
Although it is considerably warmer - the weather this week has been pretty miserable! A few of our trees have fallen victim to Storms Isha and Jocelyn and we have unfortunately had to have some trees removed this week. Thank you to Mr Gower for making sure that this was managed with minimum disruption to playtimes!
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Parent Consultations in the week before half term. Appointments will be available to book from next Tuesday. Full details about the meetings can be found in the letter that was sent on Wednesday this week.
Thank you to Mrs Horgan who visited us last week to lead assemblies on water safety. The children were really engaged and can hopefully tell you about what they learned about keeping themselves safe when in or by the water.
A reminder to let us know if you would like your child to feature in our Roll of Honour section of the newsletter. We know that children achieve all sorts of amazing things outside of school and I am aware of children taking part in various competitions/events from Karate to Motor Cross and Football to Opera! If you would like to email me about your child’s extra curricular triumphs - please feel free to do so!
There are a number of exciting events coming up in the spring term so do keep an eye on the “Dates for your Diary” section!
Have a great weekend everyone!
