I would like to send my sincere thanks to everyone in our school community for supporting each other at this very challenging time. I must say, the children have been brilliant and shown great maturity over the last few weeks. Please rest assured, we have done everything possible to maintain a safe, hygienic, healthy and happy environment in school.
Following government guidance, the school is closed to the majority of children from Monday 23rd March. As you will doubtless agree, these precautions are absolutely necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. During this closure period, please follow guidance as set out in my recent letters.
We have set up email accounts which we will monitor during our closure. If you need to contact us, please use either the relevant member of staff's email or email us via: schoolclosure@bigginhillps.com
These are unprecedented times with many challenges that we must face, however we have a wonderful, supportive and strong community in Biggin Hill, which I am truly grateful for.
Teachers have worked exceptionally hard to plan for this eventuality and we will do all we can to ensure that the children will have plenty to keep them occupied. I must extend my thanks to my entire staff team for their tireless work and supporting the children so well.
We are committed to supporting our children and families and will do our very best to support everyone remotely during this period of uncertainty.
Wishing you a safe and healthy few weeks ahead,
James Ellis
