Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had such a lovely week in school and all the children seem very settled and happy!
Today our school was a sea of colour in recognition of Comic Relief with many children also dressing up as their hero. Thank you to Miss Wigfield for organising this event.
This week, all children have enjoyed a themed assembly around being happy and mindful. Usually Mrs Lawrence and I would present this sort of assembly, however we found this great link below and felt that we couldn't describe this any better than
these children!

On Monday we were delighted to be able to write to you all with regards to our volunteering initiative as part of our Covid-19 Recovery Plan. In the past, children have loved volunteers being in school and this is such a nice way to become involved.
If you are interested in volunteering your time and assisting us with our reading initiative, please do email Mrs Helps at s.helps@bigginhillps.com
On Wednesday we also sent a Who to Contact About What Guide, which we hope will provide some guidance on how to direct your queries or concerns. If you do feel you need any further clarification, please do contact us via the office.
The government has also announced that parents and carers of primary aged children can access rapid lateral flow testing. Regular testing of people without symptoms is important to help stop the spread of the virus, protect loved ones and is in
the interest of public safety. More information can be found at:
Finally, I am sure it will be a huge comfort for you all to know that school feels and sounds just like it did before the pandemic. Although we have new routines and tight
timetables, the children have all adapted brilliantly.
Wehonestly couldn't be more proud of them all!
Have a fabulous weekend.
My very best wishes,
Mrs Freeman
