Dear Parents and Carers,
As this half term draws to a close, I must thank my entire staff team for pulling together during the last 7 weeks to ensure that the children have had a settled, happy and productive first half term. I would also like to extend my thanks to you all for your
continued support. Unless there is a change in guidance, the next half term will run in exactly the same way.
I am delighted to announce that Miss Burgham has had a beautiful baby boy called Finley (Finn). We can’t wait to meet him and have passed on everybody’s congratulations messages and good wishes.
This week has been Black History Week and children across the school have enjoyed learning about black history, heritage and culture. My thanks must go to Miss Elliott, History Coordinator, for organising teaching activities for our school.
Finally, I must commend all of our children from Nursery to Year 6 for showing such strength and resilience, and for being so adaptable to new routines in school. We are immensely proud of how hard the children have worked this half-term, the effort they
have shown in their work and how well they have adapted - they are truly such a credit to you all.
I wish you all a very safe and restful half term, and look forward to seeing everyone back in school on Monday 2nd November.
Mr Ellis
