I cannot possibly start this newsletter without saying what a wonderful time we all had at the zoo yesterday! The children were impeccably behaved and were a credit to you, themselves and the school. We took over the entire seating stand for the penguin feeding time – it was a sight to behold! A huge thank you to all of the staff for their hard work in the run up to the trip and on the day; thank you to our wonderful Friends for funding much of the trip and also to the admin staff for all of their behind the scenes organisation. Thank you finally to all parents and carers for your patience when coaches were late returning – you will appreciate that this was due to circumstances beyond our control and your understanding was greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your attendance at parent conferences – we hope that you found these informative and that you are pleased with the progress that your child/ren have made this year.
The class with the highest attendance this week is Royal Mile again with 99 %
We look forward to seeing you all at the summer fete tomorrow and hope that Year 6 have a wonderful time at the Glitter Prom this evening!
