Last Friday children in Lake Placid and Gozo Classes were treated to a visit from the Biggin Hill Fire Brigade. The children were fascinated with all the equipment and delighted when everyone actually got to use the hose—especially when a couple of teachers drove past in their cars! The visit was to help the children answer our
current question; ‘Who can I ask for help?' The look on the children's faces was great and proved that this was a fantastic learning opportunity. So to show our appreciation, we have agreed to help the firemen in their mission to keep us safe by asking everyone in the school to check their smoke alarms. If you don’t have a working smoke alarm just let your children’s' class teacher know and we will let the guys from Green Watch know.
