Hello! I’m Kath Sargeant, many of you may know me as a learning support assistant however a new position has been developed as Family Support Worker for Biggin Hill Primary School.
As part of the Inclusion Team, my new role is to provide support to parents/carers with any issues you may have in relation to supporting your children both at home and school to ensure they can learn positively and enjoy their time here. I liaise with all school staff where necessary and have access to a number of services/agencies who may be able to provide support (if appropriate).
Alongside this, if your child has any medical requirements then I will be able to discuss their needs with you and arrange for extra provision if needed within school. I work confidentially providing a “listening ear” so if ever you need advice or support please feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you.
