What an exciting day in EYFS!
The topic this term has been ‘People who help us’. The children have been learning about doctors, the police, firefighters, dentists, teachers and so on and so forth!We have learnt about safe strangers, safe places and what to do if we get lost.
As part of this topic we were lucky enough to have a visit from the police and…….their horses!!
We learnt about parts of the horses body, what the police force do in order to train them and what they do to keep us safe. The children were able to touch the horses and learn how they need to behave around them!
In addition to the horses we also had visits from the police dogs! They were so well behaved that we are convinced they could join our school!
