We have had several buzz days and trips over the past two weeks for Year 1, 2, 3 and 5.
Year 1—Year 1 took a walk in the pouring rain to follow the trail of the Naughty Bus. The Naughty Bus had made a mess in Biggin Hill Library and decided to climb the church tower! The children were shocked that one bus could make so much mess!
Year 2—The year 2 team are currently at the London Museum to learn about the Great Fire of London. Reports so far are that the children are thoroughly enjoying themselves and are behaving impeccably!
Year 3—Bottlenose Dolphin and Red Kite class investigated light and shade. The children thoroughly enjoyed using torches to create shadows and discussed why and how shadows are created.
Year 5—There was a thief among us! Sadly, when coming into school last Tuesday we noticed something was amiss...Mr Ellis’ office had been vandalised! Suspecting a Year 5 child, we asked the children to come forward, save themselves! Sadly…..Mr Ellis was arrested on suspicion of fraud! The school cheque book had been used to fraudulently purchase sports equipment and we all know that Mr Ellis likes to ride his bike into school! Had he purchased a new one?
The children collected evidence, compared handwriting samples, fingerprints and alibies from the main suspects. Luckily the children were able to prove Mr Ellis’ innocence and he was returned home safely in time for tea!
