On Wednesday the Year 5 children were lucky enough to meet and interview some Biggin Hill residents who lived through WWII. The children heard lots of amazing stories of the war about air raids, home life and being evacuated. They even heard one man's story of how a German airman landed in his front garden. The children also got to handle a variety of objects from WWII including helmets and parts of planes.
