We were visited by the book shop Tales on Moon Lane, who brought with them some authors to chat with us about their writing. KS1 were visited by the author Chitra Soundar (author of books such as Pattan's Pumpkin) and KS2 were visited by Tamara Macfarlane (author of Amazing Esme and Comic Shop Mysteries) along with a video clip from the illustrator Eugene Mapndera.
The children enjoyed hearing all about the inspiration behind the stories and KS2 children even worked together to solve their own comic shop mystery. There are still copies of Tamara's book in school if anyone wants to buy one, they are £5.00.
