This week has been national Anti-Bullying Week and we have been learning about what makes each of us unique and celebrating differences.
As well as learning about bullying in assemblies, children have been learning about anti-bullying through their literacy lessons. In KS1, children thought about ways in which they are unique and have created writing and pictures based on the book 'Only One You'. In KS2 children have been learning about differences using extracts from the BFG and Wonder.
In singing assembly we learnt the song Hopeful by Bars and Melody. I have heard from many children who have been practicing this at home so I am sure we now have many parents familiar with this too!
Thank you to all the parents who completed surveys during the parent morning today. We will use this information in the future.
