It was great to see parents attending the "Workshop for supporting your child in reading and spelling" on Tuesday 6/12/16.
The school are hoping to arrange more of these workshops as parents' feedback was that it was useful for them.
It was also an opportunity to exchange ideas and one idea raised by parents was to bring in any books for children to use for home reading that their child has read, but would still be useful for other children. This was especially true for books that have high interest age, but lower reading age, like those published by Barrington Stoke, which are great for children with needs in dyslexia.
Therefore we will be placing a box ready by the foyer desk for any donations of books that parents are able to make.
As always, we thank you for your continued support.
