The School Day

Weekly compulsory time pupils spend in school: 32.5 hours per week 

Morning Session

Year R - Year 6               08:30 -12:00

We operate a soft start from 8:30 a.m. with registration at 8:45 a.m.

Members of the senior leadership and wellbeing teams are on duty from 8:30 at the front entrance.  At the three entrances below, relevant staff are available to take messages.

Year R - Year 2 Children walk independently through the main gate to the KS1 building and into their classrooms.

Year 3 and 4 Children walk into school via the KS2 hall door.

Year 5 and 6 Children walk into school via the door in the Year 6 corridor.  

Afternoon Session

Year R - Year 6               13:00 - 15:15

End of school day

Children are dismissed from the front of the school by their class teacher.  Staff may ask the person collecting for the child's collection password if they do not recognise them. 

Children in Year 5 may leave the school building on their own and children in Year 6 may leave the school site independently, once the school has received written parent consent.  

Members of the senior leadership and wellbeing teams are on duty from 3:15 at the front gate.
