Dear Parents and Carers,

NSPCC Number Day today was a great success! The children looked fabulous in their number themed outfits and the event raised an amazing £382.70 -  thank you so much for your donations!

We have had a number of visitors to the school this week, from prospective parents touring the school to executives from the Inicio Trust. Everyone has been really impressed by what they have seen and, as headteacher, I have felt extremely proud of all the staff and children - their hard work and enthusiasm are so clearly evident!

We have a few staff leaving in February. Ms Coker, Ms Santos and Mrs Giles are all moving on to pastures new. We would like to thank them for their hard work and wish them all the very best. You will have seen that we have started the recruitment process by advertising their job roles. If you are interested in applying - please get in touch.

Congratulations to everyone who was awarded an Ambassador or Special Recognition Badge in assembly this week. We are so proud of you all!

We are looking for Parent/Carer Representatives for each class, as we would like to start the Parent/Carer Forum again. Apologies for the fact that we did not manage to have a Parent/Carer Forum in the autumn term. The voice of parents and carers is such an important part of school improvement and so we hope that you will consider putting yourselves forward or that those who have been reps previously will consider volunteering again.

Finally, we are looking forward to parent consultations next week - if you have not already done so, please book an appointment via Arbor. The booking system will be open until midday next Tuesday. Just a reminder to build in some time to look at your children’s work, as books will be available for parents to look at.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Mrs Freeman
